- Mowing Slopes to Drains and waterways: The mowing of slopes into waterways is often important to maintain the stability of the banks from erosion. However, slopes adjacent to drains and waterways pose a practicular hazard to conventional mowing methods. Whether on tractor or ride-on -mower, the operator is positioned on top of the vehicle while the ground conditions could be slippery or soft, and steep banks have a risk of rollover. Compared to the conventional approach to such tasks with tractor or excavator mounted equipment, the IRUS MOWER causes minimal interference with adjacent areas. Obviously other precautions appropriate given the presence of a operator would still be required. - Road Side Mowing: The IRUS MOWER can cut road side slopes while causing minimum obstruction or interference to road traffic. Compared to the conventional approach to such tasks with tractor mounted equipment, the IRUS MOWER causes minimal interference with adjacent areas. - Dam Wall: Grass coverd Dam Walls require good maintenance to prevent erosion and deterioration. However the long slopes poses a potentially serios roll over hazard to tractors and ride-on-mowers. Regular mowing of such slopes keeps weeds under control and prompting grass growth. However rutting and wheel damage significantly increases potential for erosion. Regular mowing encourages healthy regrowth wich better stabilises the slope from erosion. The wireless operating range from up to 300 m work as an important element for operating the machine in a good visibility of the machine direction and situation. Although the IRUS MOWER comes into its own on extreme slopes and areas with heavy growth, it efficiently mowers all areas that would ordinarly be mowed by conventional means producing a clean finishing cut.
